Have several years of experience with the same problem with mine before it was fixed. Can do a little trouble shooting by disconnecting the electrical wires at the motor. Then install temp jumper wires from the control box to the motor oy you can us a separate 12 volt battery. Mine worked fine with the jumper wire. My problem was a bad splice at an outlet between the box and the motor. Other problem could be that wire is too small. Awning stops when it "amps out". Mine was temperature sensitive. In hot sun it will amp out sooner than when cool. The manufacturer worked on it three times, a dealer twice before awning manufacturer rep told me where to start looking. Finally fixed after 4 years. e .
