We have the 2003 Itasca 27' Sunova, shown below in the signature. It's our second RV, and we like the short length as its fine for two, and allows us to get to most Forest Service and NP mountain camping sites.
The single slide-out provides just enough space inside. No couch though with 27' (just an extra rocking chair) and the walk-around queen bed is a bit tight on one side.
Some older class A's like ours have the Workhorse chassis, which might (?) be better than the Ford V10's. We bought ours used about 1.5 years ago and have had very little trouble so far, after putting about 8000 miles on the 43K it came with.
