I carry a modest sized tool box that is stuffed like a puzzle with tools and supplies. I also carry jumper cables and a battery charger.
Inside the toolbox is a little compartmental tray with snap lid that has all kinds of little things from bulbs to fuses and miscellaneous RV related hardware. Also in the tool box are a few different types of adhesives and sealers, and of coarse duck-tape, a hose clamp or two, All Basic Generic Items That Can Band-Aid A Multitude Of Things Gone Wrong until the repair can be made right elsewhere.
My rule is: If it doesn't fit in the tool box, then it isn't coming along.
