- IF we are camping for more than a weekend, we will use ours, the DW likes to use it...
- K_CharlesExplorerI use the same dishwasher in the RV that I do at home. She doesn't just come for the ride.

I was going to ask how you got it to fit .. NEVER MIND. LOL - newman_fulltimeExplorer IIMine is great it cooks and does the dishes
- AlaskaShooterExplorerWhen I'm staying in the RV the dishwasher gets used. I shop, I cook, but I don't do dishes. That's why I bought it. While she lives in it alone she can wash dishes in the sink till the cows come home.
- TrackrigExplorer IIThe DW uses me for a lot of things besides just washing dishes.
Bill - doxiemom11Explorer IIWish we had one.
- FIRE_UPExplorerWell,
Everyone's got opinions on this. I myself, have never been a fan of dishwashers. I call them "dirty dish closets". Since they're capable of storing lots of dirty dishes, meal after meal, 'till they're full enough to run a cycle, the dishes just sit, like being in a closet.
The wife cooks about 80-90% of the time, and I cook the 10-20%. But, I do 100% of the dishes. And I like doing them right after we eat, within a given time frame. Besides, we don't have an on board dishwasher. To each his own.

LOL. My wife doesn't see the need for one. Plastic silverware and paper plates and all.
If that is what you are using most of the time, agreed, can't see the need then. Our motor coach is our home. We use the dishwasher. Our Fisher & Paykel uses 1.8 gallons of water per load and is Energy Star rated. Very economical and energy efficient to operate in our situation. - RoadpilotExplorerWe use ours all the time. We do use the short wash mode which works fine.
