Sony backup camera not working

I have a Sony backup camera color system on my 2008 Discovery. The camera started to come on and off, It then finally never came back on. I disconnected the camera and found that the 6 pin cable had corroded and one of the pins broke off inside the female part of the cable. The female cable is the one the runs from the front of coach to the rear. Without having to run a new cable. Will I be able to splice the cable on the camera and the one running from the front together to take care of the problem. Anyone know where to start from in order to replace the long cable?

    do a search for this issue on the forum. Sony had a issue on some years and the connector end was the problem and only Sony had the connector. Without a picture of your connector hard to say. It should be a mini din connector with 2 pin on the flat and 2 pins each side. If so then try here.
