I will not travel without a mounted spare (11R22.5 in my case) and the tools to change it. Liz and I can each change a tire solo with only hand tools.
At a minimum, I suggest carrying an unmounted spare...many DP's run odd-sized tires that could end with you either waiting a week for one to be shipped in or paying a fortune to Ben Dover's Tire Service for someone's 10-year-old Chinese trailer tire.
