My 2004 is suppose to have the spare mounted under the bedroom slide under fuel tank. Some came with the mount, mine doesn't have the bracket. Mount. So I wrapped the tire in a blue tarp and used 2 nylon ratchet traps to hold it up.
They are not doing away of spare tires because of back injuries, they are doing away with them for saving dollars, GM is a great example of that.
