I have had 4 blowouts in 9 years of RVing. We traveled over 60,000 miles on all sorts of roads. I would not like to be without a spare tire. There are two pricing structures for tires one for a normal negotiation and one when it is 9 PM on a Saturday evening on a rainy windy night in the middle of nowhere. That can cost you over $1,500 and that is if you have a roadside assistance plan! If you don't it can be much, much more. If you have a spare tire then Good Sam or other roadside service will have the tire put on for free. The worse of all that is you may get a Chinese knockoff instead of a name brand tire.
Thanks,
Michael
