The Promaster sounds like a much cheaper 'dumb downed" version of the Ducato. A Ducato with that 3.6 V6 would be lucky to be looked at here.
The Automatic is a AMT transmission used a lot on European HDT's. The Mercedes unit has been released as a Detroit Diesel for use on Freightliner Trucks.
Mr. Ryan, we americans like gasoline like australia likes diesel. People not living in North America can't seem to understand that.Although we have a small percentage who want diesel the majority do not.
