+1 I haven't used the 3M Indoor Window Insulator Kit, but I have heard great things about it. This does a good job at creating a dead air space, especially once shrunk into place with a hair dryer. I've thought of tossing a silica gel packet or two in the air gap before sealing it down to further protect against humidity in that air space.

For the windshield, I'd consider an outside shade, then Reflectix on the inside for starters. There are some "B" owners who have far fancier windshield coverings on the inside than that.
