STARCHOICE signal
Heading down to Arizona in a couple of months. Wondering if my Starchoice dish will still pick up a signal. Anyone heard anything or been down there this summer?

What I've responded to it what will happen this year. Shaw changed things effective July 1, 2013. If the LNB on your motor home is not the same as the one at home and you need a receiver refresh they will not do it without a second account. We don't use ours much in the summer in Canada and if it's left for more than 30 days you require the dreaded receiver refresh. Shaw has been changing LNB on home installations to the new XKU for the new satellite. If you have the XKU at home you likely have the older on on your motor home. If you don't regularly use your system on the motor home you will need a receiver refresh and this is when they screw you.:(
