Starting to look for a full time rig.
As we start to look for a full time rig I thought I'd pick everyone's brain as our needs are pretty specific. Our current class C on the MBS is great but too small. One of the biggest challenges is our cat. He's 10 years old and doesn't travel too well in the car. From what I have read some cats who don't do well in a car can still travel ok in a larger motorhome. While full timing our plan would be only to travel about every 2 weeks and for a few hours. The rest would be parked. But our most important criteria is quiet and smooth while driving. Typically, that means a DP or Super C (I'd love to hear experiences on which one really drives better). Another criteria is Washer and dryer. We also frequent state parks, so I'd like to be under 34 or 36 feet. I really don't want a long RV. For the cat I was thinking a bunkhouse model would be ideal. Even if I had to retro fit it, it's a good space for litter box, bed etc. I think a lot of folks that travel with pets use a bunkhouse for that reason. So - that's really the top things, quiet, quiet quiet and smooth driving, less than 36 feet, washer dryer, bunkhouse, quality. I would look at rigs with a patio. I think I could really make one of those work for a screenhouse but that's a bit more of a unicorn. Brand matters. Budget under $250k. Would love to hear any thoughts. No idea is too crazy. Especially any advice on travelling with a cat. Thanks!
