We love State, Federal and even County parks. Rates will vary so you have to do your homework so there's no surprises. Often, i.e. Texas, it's worth it to buy their yearly pass. As for Corps of Engineer's parks, try the one in Plymouth, Wa. right on the Columbia River. It's close to you and is an excellent choice to see what they offer....best of luck ..Dennis
