States with no tax on private party purchase?
I have been told that if you are a Nevada resident you don't pay sales tax on a private party purchase of a RV for example..that would be a big chunk of change for us paying 9 percent sales tax... ...

GA used to not tax private party sales but that recently changed for motor vehicles. You pay a one time 6.7% tax and then no annual ad valorem tax each year. Non motor vehicles (trailers) still come under the old rule of no sales tax on used private party sales BUT the annual ad valorem tax will make the tag expensive each year.
