States with no tax on private party purchase?
I have been told that if you are a Nevada resident you don't pay sales tax on a private party purchase of a RV for example..that would be a big chunk of change for us paying 9 percent sales tax... ...

Correct, and it does not matter if you bought the vehicle in AZ or out of state, If it was purchased from a private party, there is no sales tax, period, when you go to register it, only annual registration fee, which in AZ is separate from sales tax. However, if purchased from an out of state dealer, you will pay sales tax I know the details because I have bought vehicles in state / out of state, private party / dealer, all possible scenarios.
