States with no tax on private party purchase?
I have been told that if you are a Nevada resident you don't pay sales tax on a private party purchase of a RV for example..that would be a big chunk of change for us paying 9 percent sales tax... ...

Califonication is the best state I ever moved out of. I've been very happy ever since. Don't buy an RV in another state and register it there. States have ways of tracking you down and making you pay. Read the other 500 or so posts on it. Washington State has identified about a dozen people who have set up limited liability corporations in Montana and has ordered them to pay the tax and up to 35% more in penalties and interest.
