We have never stayed at a Walmart but I certainly understand why people would want to. Like a previous poster mentioned, if you are on a tight schedule and leave after work, it sure makes sense.
We are retired and I like to be parked by 6 PM in the summer and by dark if we are out during the winter months. As I'm connecting the electric/water, my co-pilot is making those 'ever-so-delicious' cocktails.
The only place I have ever boondocked is at the BLM land in Quartzsite, AZ, with my RV buddies. And, I'm usually alone on that 3-4 day trip.
