Amen! It makes no sense to me neither.
Gents I won't try to sell the concept as it certainly isn't for everyone. Last falls trip was Yellowstone and next month we'll leave for DC. Each is about 1200 miles one way and we don't have the luxury of smelling the roses. There is efficiency gained by literally pulling into a lot, slides out, jacks down, cocktail, dinner, and lights out. Besides, aren't I still enjoying my bazillion dollar rig less the view?
