We've overnighted in a few parking lots. Not because we dislike paying for a CG, but because when we take long trips I prefer to drive overnight. I'll pull over and catch a few Z's at around 4 or 5 AM so that I can arrive at my destination close to check-in time without being too tired to enjoy the day.
