On long, across country trips I like to stay in a campground every other nite and park at rest areas and truck stops in between.. It's not that I can't afford it, I just feel that it is overkill to stop at campgrounds every nite... The rest areas are convenient and allow quick and easy access to continuing on the trip but I do not sleep well with the diesels rattling in the next lane.. But the campgrounds allow a quiet nights sleep and I can dump and go.. This seems to work well for me on the road when I am trying to get where I am going..
