Steering stabilizer?

So I tried a little off-roading with my 30' Hurricane. (Fell off the driveway)
There are two appliances that seem after-market attached to the axles and the control arms or inner hubs with springs.
Doesn't seem to be integral part of steering or the sway bar. But I broke one.
Is it something I need to replace? Is this coach still drive-able or do I need a tow?

    I thought that's what I was looking at. I just didn't know the name.
    I remember when Semi trucks started racing back in the 80's and they had catastrophic failures when there were blowouts. This device was invented from those crashes.
    Are they common on RVs?

    What you have is a device called SteerSafe. An internet search can give you all of the details.
    It consists of springs on each side to pull your steering back to the center. If one side is broken and the springs off, it may just pull to the other side and may be a little difficult to steer.
    If one side is damaged, I would just disconnect the other side until you can get the whole thing repaired. Here is the link.
