I see the table in the 24, but the 'how to live in my RV' vision includes two separate spaces to 'be' in. For example - the early riser can hang out at the dedicated dinette space, do computer work, watch a movie, have breakfast etc. I think learning to live together, for a long stretch, in a small motorhome, would require two separate places to be.
It's also nice to be able to say "I'm staying up a little later". When my wife wants to stay up a little later, I draw the privacy curtian and she can do what she wants in the living area as long as the volume is low.
