You’ve touched on something that has been a big complaint of mine for a long time – kitchen space and drawers for clothes.
Either is tough to find in a half-ton towable TT, let alone finding both in one floor plan. Kitchen space doesn’t come easy in a small Class A. It seems the buying public wants a home-like lounge area more, regardless of RV type.
Our situation is a little different, since we are now a retired couple with no children to need regular beds.
One thing we have seriously considered is to buy a bunkhouse Class A of maybe 34 feet, rip out the bunks and use the space for storing one of those kitchen carts (that we could wheel out for more counter space and storage) plus a small dresser for drawers.
For nice kitchen and bedroom drawers, it seems like fifth wheels are where it’s at. No wonder they are the choice of so many retired couples.
