Storage/Parking away from the house???

so the overhang on the roof is blocking you from parking closer to your house and you could cut back the eave to allow it to clear? I think I would modify the roof line myself. I would consider you lucky that you have infringed on their property for so many years without a complaint. some shyster lawyer might take your case of illegal tress pass for some time becomes legal or some such but that would cost more than adapting your roof.
do your covenants allow storing something that close to the lot line?
