We have just bought and do not even have it yet, but we have to store of property because of city bylaws...about the fridge, this may be a little work but my plan was to put all food that needed to be cold in cooler like when I had to tent camp, then transfer to fridge after it is cold. We want a cooler with us anyway for when we go on outtings the beach and so on. Of course I am just learning, but that was my plan. Not to mention shopping when I reach my destination, then fridge would be cold and ready for food. Good luck with your decision.
