Find a fenced monitored storage facility. There are plenty of safe ones.
I store mine off site also.
I have a 120 watt solar panel that keeps the house batteries charged and a trik-L-charge that keeps the chassis charged by taking some power from the house batteries.
This is a great setup that keeps all the batteries charged as long as the sun comes up each day!
I turn the frig on propane the day before leaving.
I keep the motorhome fully stocked with non-perishable food. All I need to do is show up with refrigerator food and leave on my trip
or
just stop at a grocery store on the way!!
and Yes there are safe storage facilities.
