Storing MH in Seattle for cruise to Alaska

We will be traveling to Alaska this summer by flying from Seattle to Fairbanks and return via cruise ship to Vancouver. We would like to store the motorhome and keep it plugged in as we do not want to empty out the refrigerator and freezer. Has anyone done this? Is there a campground near the border that would have this type of storage, or should we just rent a site and just keep the motorhome at an RV park?
Thanks for any help.
  • X2 for Lake Pleasant in Bothell, WA. We did the same thing a few years ago (RV to Seattle area, fly to Fairbanks and return by cruise ship). $3/day let us plug in to 15amp and save our food. Upon our return we headed east to Yellowstone and So. Dakota.
  • I did not mention it, but I believe the charge for Lake Pleasant to keep your RV safe and plugged in was $3/day!
  • I have mine at sureguard in kent wa. I have had it there for six years
undercover power etc 200 a month. It is clean, paved and monitered.
    close to airport.

  • Thanks, that is exactly what we are looking for, I will contact this week.
  • Campground in Bothel, WA (Lake Pleasant?). They will provide a standard site when you arrive, get you moved to a 15 amp site while you are gone and then have a site ready for you when you return. We have done this twice and it's worked exactly as we would have liked. Great location except for the high taxi fee to the docks but that's not the campgrounds fault.
