Strange new DEF refill problem

no your not missing anything the OP is because he only has one filler opening which as I have said 3 times is hard to believe but it is what it is so he has to fill on the right but PP fill is on the left
or vice versa

The OP is talking about filling his DEF tank....not his diesel tank. He did mention (in error) that he had to fill the container with "diesel" and take to the other side.....but he really meant fill the container with DEF.

I'm sure he has dual fills for his fuel tanks, but I have never seen dual fills for the DEF tank.

Hope this clears the confusion.

In my opinion there is no confusion because if he had dual fills then he would(I assume) pull into a diesel fill area that allows him to fill fuel and DEF at the same time? It appears that this is not a viable situation otherwise why would he be complaining about the def system being on the opposite side he fills on pray tell me that?
On edit iam more than totally aware hes talking about filling his def tank

Sorry about the confusion. If you look at the drawing, you'll see that the DEF is on the passenger side. The primary fuel fill is on the driver's side and the secondary fuel fill (not shown) is on the passenger side.

The only way to fill the DEF with bulk would be to 1) drive in backwards or 2) take bulk DEF from another lane. Neither solution works well.
