We are very rural. The only options available for us is Sat or cellular. Lucky enough for us 4g just became available last year. Odd for such a remote area, but I suspect it has something to do with being within a 2 mile radius of Camp David. I have tried Sat internet and had it for years (as the 4g was not available yet). $700 to set up and $90 a month for their preimum which experienced a lot of latency, cloud disruption and was half as fast as the 4g we have now. Not to mention it's nowhere near portable. My jetpack requires no cat 5, no receiver and no modem hence wireless and it fits in my shirt pocket. I have friends with cable, it's fast and less limitations on usage. Again, not portable. So, utopia is a portable, 4g, with unlimited or at least reasonable usage plans. I am 2 for 3.
