Lobstah......real time is important to a lot of us. We watch several TV shows at home and when we travel, we like to see the next episode the following week. I don't want to come home from a trip and watch all the shows I missed, I want to watch them while I'm away....that's why I have a satellite.
The other point you're missing is that most people don't camp UNDER a cell tower. Typically, the reception is poor, even if it's good, data loading is REALLY slow.
It's not about money, it's about technology that is only good directly under a powerful source.
