stress fracture
A 6 inch or so diagonal stress crack appeared on our brand new (10 day old) RV coming off the bottom corner of the bedroom slide. Is this normal? It looks pretty rough.

No it's not normal and I would take it back to the dealer as other posters suggested! I'm sorry to hear about your troubles.
