I believe the chassis is new (different) and the leveling procedure is all new as well compared to the old Roadmaster.

This isn't the first time I've heard of this. Cameo's used to have a issue with this. They started making a cut from the corner of the slide down to the frame and added a trim molding. Ours had this.

Sounds like the dealer didn't follow Monaco's procedure for deploying slides. Air bags should be FULL and coach LEVEL before deploying or retracting the slides. That slide was compromised and needs to be checked...No, it's NOT normal....Dennis

It could happen to a real long coach, but not likely. Long coaches have a tendency of twisting the frame and superstructure of a coach when making steep climbs. I have even seen windshields pop out when you get some brands of coaches in a twisting manner.

I would call the selling dealer and talk to them. Since its only 10 days old this should not have happened and the dealer should know how to handle the problem and get it corrected. Sometimes a little pressure in the wrong spot can cause a stress crack in the fiberglass. Most of the time its in the paint only and not in the fiberglass to say. Again contact the dealer.
