Some places are really rule crazy. I hate having page after page of rules and then have them posted all over. On the other hand some simple common sense policies make things better for everyone. The owner can control and run it as they want and I can decide where to stay. The good owner who recognizes that people who RV often have pets creates a supportive environment. I had one who walked our dog as we were going to be out all day. Another asked that we leave keys at desk and per names so in the event of power problem they could take care of the pets. I worry about AC problems when very hot so have a heat alarm that calls my cell phone. Same as freeze alarm that many of use in winter when home is not occupied. I do like being treated as a guest not an intruder. There are a lot of RV parks so find the ones that want you. We stayed at KOA in Van Horn, Texas the other night. The work campers would super friendly. A nice park, well maintained with on site mom and pop cafe with great food again with the work campers. These people made it a great stop.
