Mr. Phantom, as you can see in my signature, we have a 42 ft. coach with tag. We have gone everywhere we want to go but we stay in RV Parks (64,500 miles since new). Some parks have been rather primitive but I like having connections.
I boon-dock in Quartzsite every January for 3-5 days with my RV group (60-80 RV's). We have potluck dinners every night around the campfire.
I think it would be rather difficult to do any serious back woods boon-docking in a 42' coach. I like my paint nice, shiny and new looking! We use the toad for exploring and its AWD for minor off-road driving.
