Looking for some input on the Winnebago View. Just wondering about the quality and what options you would consider?
The quality is pretty good overall, (though we were spoiled by the very solid, well-made cabinetry in our 2006 Leisure Travel Van, made in Canada by their Mennonite carpenters). We had to replace a slide motor soon after buying a used 3-yr old model. Otherwise, no problems. (Our Navion is a twin of the View.)
I think both offer an option for a $$$ diesel generator if that's something you would prefer to propane (some people do). Ours came with one when we bought used.
Other options I like having are pleated cab window blinds (some models include them), a bedroom TV, cold water filtration system under the kitchen sink, and the powered skylight with sliding screen and pleated shade. Probably some other optional stuff in there that I'm forgetting.
Full body paint is a really pricey option that ours came with. I like the way it looks a lot, but probably woukdn't pay the listed price.
