I’m going to go the other way on this one, I doubt a typical muffler shop would have much experience with class A motorhomes, ESPECIALLY what is ‘normal’ or not.
Take it to a Jayco dealer, they will (should?) be able to quickly see if there’s something that’s not right compared to a ‘normal’ unit.
A manufacturer as big Jayco / Thor isn’t going to produce a unit with a propane tank next to the exhaust system, and if they had, I’m pretty sure we’d of heard of it in less than 7 years ......
