I respectfully disagree. The Progressive protects from surges as well as both high and low voltage. It also checks for ground connection, polarity and proper cycle before connect-thru as well.
Both the Progressive & TRC Surge Guard protect from low/high voltage by
cutting power -- effective, but there is a better option.
An autoformer (or voltage regulator) "boosts" low voltage (to a point) so you don't lose power.
I think an Autoformer/Surge Protector combo is your best best.
