Yes, Progressive and surge guard both cut the power somewhere around 132 volts on the high side and 103 on the low.
If these units are hard wired and the pedestal floats around 131/2 the RV has no power. This triggers the inverter to power all but AC. then the auto generator kicks in.
Imagine your in a park where the pedestal provides 134 all week or until more campers show up.
I have a hard wired surge protector,but before that to keep the current flowing I have a voltage regulator; the voltage regulator which keeps incoming power at a constant acceptable value from 85 volts to 140 at the pedestal. Something like an autoformer but a little more complicated and more expensive. I have it as I travel in Mexico.
