Surge protector
I realize this subject has been covered before, but technology keeps changing. What are you suggesting these days.

My first (and only) PI unit failed out of the box. Company did send a replacement part, but it still didn't work. I returned the unit. I think I discovered why PI needed a "lifetime" warranty.
