swivel seat conversion

I am looking for a class C, and I found one that is fairly new (and expensive). I also found an older one, but is lacking one feature that I would like to have: driver and passenger seats that swivel.

Does anybody know if there is a conversion kit to add so the seats will swivel. Any personal experiences are welcome also.
  • My 2012 Winnebago Impulse Silver 26QP has the swivel seats. I will admit, we almost never use them. The seating position is down low to the ground with your feet out in front of you almost like a footstool.

There are quite a few nice features with this model that some C's don't have. Heated tanks is one, better shower with a slide away shower door. Huge counter space too.

The seats require multiple slips and twists to get them around it seems, but they do turn towards the back.
  • The passenger seat on our 2007 Itasca swivels, something I know only because I happened to notice the extra lever. We've never used it, and I cannot easily imagine when we would. But everyone lives differently in an RV, so you have to decide whether it's worth it, and whether the net cost of the older one and the conversion to swivel makes sense. Just make sure you get something that's sturdy enough to be safe in an accident.
  • you would be better off looking for electric adjustable seats. We have 12 winnibago aspect, big seller was steel flex swivel seats. Uncomfortable and takes too much effort for little gain. Will try to find some elec van seats one of these days, been looking but not real hard.

looked at a jayco melbourne and they had the electric seats much better IMO.
