This makes it super easy to remember with the inverse relationship around highway speeds.
Also, thanks to the poster who confirmed the slide depth thing. That makes total sense that they are a bit more shallow due to the use while rolling. I'm sure my wife will appreciate that someday (as will I when making a quick run for the bathroom with the cruise control set :) :))
