You miss the point of his question.
The dish is powered via the coax cable from the decoder box. The pathway to the dish thru the coach is the problem. I've yet to get one to work without directly connecting. It's most likely the wiring inside the coach - probably the signal booster. Some of them, if you take it apart, there is a coax cable behind that faceplate - try connecting that to your decoder box and bypass the booster.
If that doesn't work, then there is a connector/splitter problem somewhere in your coach.
