I would suggest that Wal-Mart is likely the worst source for an RV TV upgrade. They have the older fatter TV's and many of them are not even LED/LCD TV's. Don't buy anything that in not LED/LCD. Sam's Club has a good selection as does Best Buy and a few of the other "big box" retailers. You just have to look and look and look until you find that one that fits your needs. We started by removing a 20" CRT and fitting a TV in the existing opening (after shaving off 1/2"). That was fun but down the road we needed more. We bought something a bit larger which covered more area but required a new mounting option. We have now been able to move to a 32" (small by today's standards) without having to make any major modifications other than the mounting system. We recently (this week) added a soundbar to the TV system and it's awesome. In many cases, adding this kind of a device can fill the space left when you installed a rectangular TV in a square hole.
