Though I have not used 303 Protectant on my motor home, it was standard equipment use back in my boating days 25 years ago. Back then all they had was the protectant, not the wax base product another poster mentioned. The top side of my boat was black and no matter how much wax I used, or what brand and I tried them all back then, I could not keep the black gel coat from oxidizing and turning dull grey. Back then I would put a couple of coats of Nu Finish polymer wax on my boat and every few weeks I would wipe 303 over the black top sides through out the summer. After starting use of the 303 and my boat sitting in a sunny slip from 5/15 to 10/15 I never again had a problem with the black gel coat. I haven't used it on my RV because I am to cheap to cough up the $55-$62 average cost per gallon. Some day I will because the product is fantastic!
