I have never ever in my entire life on this planet(up till your claim here) seen or heard of a private Canadian citizen resident being allowed to buy a US vehicle and register it in the us with us plate and insurance and drive it freely in Canada;;
A us transport truck that's based out of the us used for commercial transport between Canada and the usa as you very well know is a totally different story and you know full well that's not whats we are talked about here
I did see some where one maybe can bring a US Vehicle into Canada for the purpose of transporting personal goods to their residence and it may not be driven for pleasure and must return within 30 days to the us
I seriously doubt that you see Canadians Residing in Canada driving us plated vehicles every day of the week
