I agree. People who don't RV often just don't get it. You were more polite than I would have been.
When I pull in to a large parking lot with my rig, I always try to park out of the way, too. Especially being 45+ feet long. Once I parked all the way out and the parking lot was almost empty. I came out from the store and a fire truck had taken up 4 spots in front of me. I was able to pull out, but with the whole parking lot to choose from, I couldn't figure out why they almost boxed me in.
As the song goes, people are crazy.
