I've sold some Classic cars that were worth much more than some people pay for a new motor home, and these were over 50 years old. The facts are that anything can be maintained and kept in like new condition, if someone wants to spend the time, and money, to keep the motor home looking and running like a new coach. That said, we have all seen coaches sitting out in a field, or placed in a parking lot to rot away.
In my travels, the people that have the well kept motor homes are proud of their older rigs and most have kept their rigs because the coach still suits their needs. Not everyone feels that they need a new coach every year and are perfectly content with maintaining a coach that continues to provide safe and comfortable travels.
Now will the coach ever become a Classic and go up in value? Doubtful, but if you find the right buyer, you may be surprised.
