The horrible roads are killing the fun.

The latest conspiracy theory (that I am just making up) is that the tire companies and the government are in cahoots somehow. The worse the roads are the more tires are needed. Good for the tire companies. Less road maintenance means lower taxes and more incumbents are re-elected. Good for the politicians.

There is no cure for poor roads affect on your RV other than stay home I guess. Be glad you can still ride at all.

As we look at moving from a FW back to a MH, specifically a DP in order to take advantages of a Class A and offer the best ride, it's a little concerning to hear someone with a 40' DP on air bag suspension complain of a bad ride ruining the experience.

So lots of complaints here but not much help! I have air bags , what about shocks, should i check into getting new ones or having them installed. My tires are Michelin and have 105 in the front and 90 psi in the rear.

In NM, the state, county and city roads are lousy. Only place that I have seen similar was that one time we went to Buffalo NY and saw a "pothole" that could have swallowed our Cadillac. NM towns don't have drainage ditches or sewers to divert water off the roads. The roads ARE the drainage for the water. But as I have been told by city workers, "It's doesn't rain enough to make it a problem except when it rains." No one cares, so no one bothers. The resurfacing goes to the lowest bidder (or relative) so it really doesn't matter.

Not only potholes but whole slabs of pavement that has sunk here in California!

Generally speaking, travel on US highways and drive slower. Leave the interstates to the heavy trucks that tear them up.
