2gypsies, I had two Grand Cherokee's in the past ('96 and '99). My only reservation is that they were rather troublesome. I've really have enjoyed the reliability of the Honda product, I will miss it.
The Jeep Cherokee weighs in at about 4,000 lbs., the Lincoln at 4,200, the Wrangler at about 4,100. So, they are all in the same ballpark. The Honda is about 3,400 which I like.
After driving the 'big' bus all day long, it's nice to jump in a small car and zip around town and pull into small parking places. The Lincoln offers a really nice 'Ruby' red color that I like, the Jeeps 'Ruby' is more deep red/burgundy.
And, I really don't drive off road much, it's the ice and snow that it will come in handy for. I'm not sure how the ride is in a Wrangler, if it's choppy and rough, it will be a no-go. I'm too old for that now. :)
