After many posts, and many thanks to many of you for a lot of great advice, we finally bought our first RV!here are a couple of blurry photos I grabbed with my phone before we went to sign the paperwork:https://goo.gl/photos/jt1FRJqLVXbrk7ik9https://goo.gl/photos/nNLnJhuyikRmZgjz7It's a 2009 Fleetwood Excursion 40x. My wife likes the floorpan but wishes there was a bit more cabinet space. On the plus side, there's a ton of basement storage so she's happy about that.As for me, 360HP and 1000 ft-lbs of torque with plenty of CCC even if we pull our 5000lb van.It drive well and is pretty quiet. I was very excited to see it already had one solar panel on the roof. I want to put a solar setup up top and it's nice that I don't have to run wires and all that.Next task is to figure out how to tow the van. Post coming up!

dang you got those images embedded. It drove me crazy trying to do that!Thanks by the way, we really think we got a deal. it has a washer/dryer + a diswasher. Also side view cameras, passthrough storage even in-motion satellite. We're excited to pick it up!

i've been jealous of everyone on the forums for a while, i know the feeling. Just want to get it figured out and find the coach already!

I have to wait until the 11th before I can take it out. I hate waiting :)

I hope I can help some poor first timer at some point! There's no way I could have bought the coach without everyone's help on here. I've learned a ton!

I went through the brochure pre purchase to double check the engine and tank specs. I'll definitely by reading the user manual (I'm that guy). Thanks for making it easy to find online :)

as for the first trip. We're going to stay close and do a shake out. The dealer gives us a 30 day warranty from delivery.

I really like Withlacoochee state forest here in florida. Another option is St. Augustine (if I can get a site). still talking it over with the mrs
